Our team

Liu Ping

Chairman

Liu Ping began his career in 1989, acting as Division Head of the bureau directly under the Guangdong Audit Office. He then progressed to become Manager of the Department of Planning and Auditing, then Board Secretary of the Poly Real Estate Group. Liu is now the Chairman of Poly Australia.

Arthur Wang

Managing Director and Head of International Acquisitions

Appointed Managing Director Poly Australia in 2014, Arthur oversees our Australian operations, as well as Poly Real Estate’s outbound acquisitions and joint-venture opportunities globally.

During his 15-year career in property development, Arthur has overseen the delivery of more than 50 projects, including Poly International Plaza (Beijing), Poly Horizon (Sydney), and 
5 Fleet Place (London).

Baijian Yang

General Manager of Melbourne Division

Appointed Project Director Poly Australia in 2015, Baijian Yang oversees design works, budget control and project management of our Australian projects.

During his 20-year career, Baijian Yang has worked in Architectural Design, Engineering management and Project Development. He has overseen the delivery of various projects in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Sydney and other cities. Recent projects include Poly Center (Chengdu), Poly Crowne Plaza (Chengdu), and Poly Horizon (Sydney).

Yun ZHANG

Deputy General Manager of Melbourne Division

Ms. Yun ZHANG is the Investment Director of Poly (Australia) Real Estate Developments Pty Ltd [Poly], responsible for investment management and acquisitions and internal business management for Poly (Australia) Real Estate Developments. She is appointed as Investment Director and Assistant Managing Director from 2016.

Before transfering to Poly (Australia) Real Estate Developments and Poly Real Estate Group Co., Ltd, Yun ZHANG was in the Real Estate Department of China Poly Group, responsible for the review of all property projects’ feasibility, formulation of rules and regulations related for project approval.

Ms. Yun ZHANG has worked for China Poly Group for over twenty years. Ms. Zhang has done feasibility studies for more than 60 projects, and reviewed hundreds of property development projects. She has also assessed the majority of Poly Group’s most significant projects when she worked in China Poly Group Corporation.

During her career, Ms. Zhang has earned an excellent reputation in her honesty, professionalism and work ethic.

Grant Price

Investment Director

With a career spanning more than 25 years in corporate real estate, Grant's expertise includes acquisitions/capital transactions, development, funds management, leasing, capital raising and disposals. Grant has been involved in multiple commercial, retail, industrial and residential transactions across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.

Grant’s extensive skills and experience in the development and investment property sector are backed by relevant qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as being a registered Chartered Surveyor.

Grant joined Poly in May 2016 and is responsible for Acquisitions across Australia focusing primarily on the Sydney and Melbourne markets.

Han Sun

Associate Director of Finance

Mr. Han SUN is an Associate Director of Poly (Australia) Real Estate Developments Pty Ltd [Poly]. He was appointed to this position in 2016.

Prior to being in this role, Mr. SUN was the Financial Manager of Poly (Australia) Real Estate Developments Pty Ltd.

Before transferring to Poly’s Australian office, Mr. SUN was the Senior Business Manager in Shanxi Poly Real Estate Development Co., Ltd.

Mr. SUN graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Accounting and Master’s Degree in Economics.

Throughout his career, Mr. SUN has become a valuable asset to the company. His knowledge and background in project financing and cash flow planning provides a strong foundation that allows for accurate and thorough work. In recent years, Mr. Sun has negotiated the financing of more than 2.5 billion Chinese yuan (around 0.5 billion AUD) for three projects in Xi’an city in China sourced from a range of financiers including local banks, insurance companies to fund companies. This was an outstanding achievement for the company.

His current role involves him more in the development of the Australian company, with a focus on finance.

Steve Wang

Associate Director of Project

Appointed Associate Director of Poly Australia in 2016, Steve oversees and is responsible for operational matters on a project level. Steve joined in Poly as Project Manager on 2015.

During his extensive 10-year property development experience in Australia, Steve has overseen the delivery of more than 20 projects, including Poly Horizon (Sydney) and Grove Place by Poly Australia.

Jay Carter

Sales and Marketing Director

Jay has an extensive range of development and real estate experience. This includes sales management and project marketing of boutique prestige apartment buildings, high volume greenfield subdivisions and sensitive government assets.

His unique set of skills have been gained over 15 years of working for some of Australia’s leading developers and builders, as well as running a boutique real estate agency.

Jay has a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in marketing and a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He joined Poly in March 2017 as Sales and Marketing Director.
